Artists Biography:

Ronda is Originally from Kentucky and has lived in the Youngstown Area since 1998. Ronda Began Decorative Finishing in 1989 and was intially self taught. She attended classes in basic painting techniques at the local Vocational School in Kentucky in the early 1990's and attended Ohio University and received a certificate in Interior Design in 1993. Finding her passion in decorative art, she wanted to know more than basic painting techniqes. She has studied Decorative Finishing with Profaux, Melanie Royals, Barth White, Martin Allan Hirsch,and Mural Painting with Tish Inman,to name a few. Ronda uses only the best professional products available to create her custom decorative finishes. Ronda has also completed training in E-Crete, which is a new surfacing material made of concrete. This product allows for resurfacing laminate countertops to give them the look of marble or stone as well as resurfacing existing concrete surfaces such as basement floors, and exterior concrete to create an inviting space outdoors. Ronda attends at least one week of classes each year to stay ahead in her field. She has also attended the Faux Event and tries her best to bring her clientel the most up to date finishes available today. Most finishes are created using water based materials, but she does use oils to create some finishes. Ronda's clientel is not limited to the Youngstown area. She has clients in Kentucky, Missouri, Virginia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Huntington, WVa, as well as Columbus, Cleveland, Shaker Heights, and South East Ohio. No matter where you are, Ronda will come to you. Ronda has completed projects in Residential and commercial environments utilizing other artisans when needed on larger projects. In 2007 a home in which Ronda designed decorative finishes for almost every room received the "Award for Excellence" by a local Builders Association. In addition to decorative wall finishes, Ronda can assist you with interior design consultations to include color selection, furniture placement, accessories and more. If you see something in a magazine or book that you would like in your home, have the picture available at your consultation. Ronda can usually duplicate anything you may see in a magazine or book. Fees for Service:
Serving the Youngstown, Ohio area, Pittsburg, Pa., Cleveland, and anywhere within the United States. Local Consultations (35 miles) are $35.00 for a one hour consultation. Consultations over thirty five(35) miles up to fifty miles(50) are charged at $50.00 per hour. Consultations over fifty(50) miles are priced on a case by case basis. Credit Cards accepted. Custom created designs or finishes require a deposit. This fee is credited to your project upon scheduling. Most Major Credit Cards are accepted. Your Ideas or Mine.....
